Jake Bebout

Jake's artistic training started in high school,and continued to cultivate throughout his life. After four years in the USMC at Camp Lejeune, 

Jake attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Studio Art.  Jake trained as an apprentice with two different North Carolina studios, where he was exposed to a variety of styles. 

Ultimately, Jake chose to concentrate on his artistic roots; realism and portraiture.  Since he opened Snafu Tattoo Studio in Wilmington NC, Jake has made it clear to all clients that art overrules everything you thought you knew about tattoos.  

At the studio, you and your tattoo are the highest priority of Jake's day.

All the way from Florida, Zoe joined us at Snafu Tattoo in November 2025. She specializes in fine line work and anime tattoos. Zoe has been tattooing since 2017 after finishing her professional apprenticeship at in Florida. 

Zoe's focus on anime has created a highly specialized and sought after style here in the Wilmington area. As we expand and grow, we invite you to come and book your appointment with Zoe. You are in talented and kind hands with her!
